Lomography fisheye, the cloister

The camera is broken (it shouldn't make a clak clak sound every time I move it, right?), but still, going through the process of shooting, waiting, going to the store, and opening the envelop, retains its charm.
This is where I've been studying/working lately, quite inspiring.

More Lomo photos here and more soon.

Women in the sky

"Drawing" with the stars...

the profile of two women came out, don't you think?
Or maybe I just had too much red wine that night.

Thanksgiving feast

I have just realized that most of my latest posts are food-related... I guess that this speaks volumes about what I have been doing in Italy lately. Holidays and festivities are just an excuse to organize dinner parties! :)
And good Black Friday to you, don't forget to check out my Etsy shop, for some early (and free shipping!) shopping.

Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the parade!

This year I won't be able to see the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but I am ready for some home cooking and of course for a lot of gratefulness!

Weekend in review

Not quite a wild weekend...

But I'd say a tasty one, with s'mores (to be honest, it looks better than it tastes), a steaming cup of pumpkin soup (d e l i c i o u s), and a trip to Ikea with photos taken from the car (that's Ponte Pietra, Verona... and no, I wasn't the driver hehe).

Fun-packed weekend ahead... lunches, poetry, sleepover, and field trip to Ikea.
Have a good weekend!

Tabletops

Brunch in New York and lunch in Barcelona. Tables mean so much: conviviality, laughs, flavors...
And Monday is almost over. Have a good week.

Smooth like no other

That's the way I'd like my weekend to be... smooth and a little bit alcoholic! ;)

How to make a soup

Can you repeat the ingredients, please?

And, that's celery, you said? Very finely chopped, indeed.

As soon as the temperature goes below 70F... I'm cold and start making soups like a maniac.
There's nothing like a soup, when it comes to comfort food, don't you think? Potato and spinach soup is on top of my list right now. What's your favorite?
