My first attempt, not too bad ah? Quite annoying it might be my last one, according to the Maya.

Anyway, in case they were wrong, here you can find the recipe for the cupcakes, while I have modified the orange icing a bit, opting for mascarpone instead of butter... If it has to come to an end, let it be a glorious BOOM!

Lomography Christmas

Thanksgiving feast

I have just realized that most of my latest posts are food-related... I guess that this speaks volumes about what I have been doing in Italy lately. Holidays and festivities are just an excuse to organize dinner parties! :)

Weekend in review

Not quite a wild weekend...

But I'd say a tasty one, with s'mores (to be honest, it looks better than it tastes), a steaming cup of pumpkin soup (d e l i c i o u s), and a trip to Ikea with photos taken from the car (that's Ponte Pietra, Verona... and no, I wasn't the driver hehe).

As soon as the temperature goes below 70F... I'm cold and start making soups like a maniac.

There's nothing like a soup, when it comes to comfort food, don't you think? Potato and spinach soup is on top of my list right now. What's your favorite?

This is Pimm's Good in Rome, Italy. Among the several bars in the Trastevere area, this is the most charming to me.
