Where did everyone go?

The city is empty, feeling like Regina Spector, need parades, protests, anything to mingle among strangers.

Or at least give me a watermelon Popsicle and an iced beer.

That kind of summer day, filled with laziness and guilty pleasures. Tomorrow I'm heading to the beach, looking forward to: fresh coconut, shakerato coffee, sand between my toes, sticky sunscreen cream, comic books, ice cream... and a little tan, why not!

Are you experiencing empty streets and desert supermarkets? Cities are fascinating in the summer, when locals leave and the urban landscape is silent and still. One of my favorite activities is spying in others' shopping carts! On the top of the list: frozen pizza, beer, ice cream and chips... people tend to turn into children in the summer! :)

And look, we have tried to make s'mores! OH BOY, they were sticky but good: whole wheat graham crackers, dark chocolate (to compensate the marshmallow!!!) and randomly flavored marshmallows.

A Day at the Beach

The quintessential summer vacation: beach umbrellas (just because I'm on a beach, it doesn't mean I want to get tan hahaha) and sunbeds, fresh coconut, a pile of magazines and drinks with my friends after sunset!
